Memory advice for Vista

Sep 21, 2007 8:46AM PDT

What are my options with only 2 memory slots? I found some cheap ram which would end up using both slots a gig each, 2GB total. Anyone know of a cheap way to buy and run 4GB in my computer? Thanks

Stop at 2GB

If you research 4GB you find many upset that only 2.9 to 3.5GB is reported by Windows. On top of that Windows limits applications to just 2GB without more tweaking.

For today, stop at 2GB.
