Aug 7, 2004 10:17AM PDT

Checking the option 'Do not show my name in my profile' seems to have no effect. My name is shown either way...

I used a different browser without logging in and clicked on your name and on my name and it shows, even to anyone not logged in. If concerned you might consider removing some of your information.

I just came back on internet. Typed my user name "G. Rolway" into Google. Shows Profile on First link. Second link connected me direct to speakeasy which I got to here. ??? Try It.

As for Google's search, their webcrawlers are beyond our control since these forums are in a public space. However, we did find a bug where user's first and last name was displaying even when you opted not to display it in your profile. This will be corrected ASAP.

I apologize for this inconvenience.

Thanks!

Re: Just one little question Lee

Based on what I have read here on Googles webcrawlers etc. Not all members profile page show up in Google.

Is there a character such as @, # or aka such P109s name above that can be inserted in our users name that would prevent this?

BTW; I like those arrows that just showed up here.

Registered names will not display in profile unless user has opted in to display it.
