Megxon s303 9.7mp

I too fell for this supposedly good deal on ebay and got the camera for a $155 plus $15 shipping. I've been trying all day to improve the photo quality. Even with the flash turned on, the indoor photos appear quite dark, and the lighter ones are greenish. I need some help before being too judgmental.

These cameras are over-hyped on ebay and look like you are getting more than you are.

That camera is not 9.7 megapixel, it is 3 megapixel.
So to improve your photo quality, do not use any setting above 3 megapixel.

Also do not use digital zoom at all, as it degrades the picture.

If the color is off on indoor shots, you should try changing the "White Balance" setting. It has settings of auto/sun/cloudy/tungsten/fluorescent.

If you have regular light bulbs chooose tungsten.
If you have fluorescent lights, choose fluorescent.

This should improve your indoor shots.
Just remember to change it back to auto when
using the camera outdoors.

If you choose to purchase another camera in the near future. Take a look at the Canon A510 which sells for $199 at any store. It has 3 megapixels and 4X optical zoom.
