No one will buy a Mexgon camera when I get through. Throw it out cause you can buy another for $25. Oh ya! I traced your post. All three related to Mexgon junk.
Had a strange experience this evening; was taking pictures and suddenly got a "gray" screen. None of the controls worked and the camera would not shut off by itself. I took a chance and changed the batteries by opening the compartment which forced it to shut off, but had the same result with fresh batteries -- nothing worked on any of the controls including turning it off. I came here as a last resort, left the camera on, and while I was retrieving my password, the batteries finally died (I put the old ones back in hoping that it might solve the problem if it shut itself down). When I then changed the batteries, it was all working correctly again!!! I've had this camera for a while, and it has worked fairly well for me, but thought I would be buying a new one soon.
I am posting this so that others with similar problems may try this for hopefully the same result.
