It don't matter if you use film or digital with a gazillion pixels. Unfortunately, your pictures will only be as interesting as your inate ability to conceive and compose photogenic scenes. I bought three cameras last year of increasing MPs, ending with an 8MP Canon Digital Rebel XT. Guess what? My pictures look just as posed, unnatural, and boring as my pictures from my film-based Canon AE-1. My son, who inherits my hand-me-downs, always takes pictures that are worthy of framing. So, for hacks like me, I advise you to buy any, any, ANY camera that feels good in you hands, and hope you stumble into one or two good pics.
