Media server - Media Play - what's everyone doing?

I've just setup a home media server serving 3 Samsung DLNA TVs.
A 58" B850 and 37" and 32" B650s.
I went for this setup as I wanted to avoid having to have a seperate media centre computer as "brains" in every room.

So now I'm faced with the dilemma that this simply isn't anywhere near as good as using something like Media Centre. All my library is stored as ISO, and when using Media Centre on my study PC I have set it up for an automount and a great media library browse with DVD cover art and movie synospsis etc..

Whilst Media Play is functional it isn't anything fancy. I'm restricted by file format and the interface isn't that user friendly.

I really want this to work well, so I'd like to know what people are doing to get this all going nicely.

Do I convert all my ISOs to a different format? If so, which one and what should I use (I've read that it can be very touchy).
Is there an alternative to PC Share Manager that would be compatible with better features?

Is there a way to still use PC Share Manager but something else which will convert my ISOs on the fly?

What about cover art etc..

Any input appreciated.
