Media Player craping out after 10-14 minutes or less

Jul 11, 2009 12:19PM PDT

Laptop Running Vista SPII Media player connected to a Sony Bravia HDTV to watch movies. I've been doing this for a while and all of a sudden while we're watching a moive that is stored on my HD the screen goes gray or black and the only thing you can do is a hard shut down and reboot and it will do it again even faster that time. The movie will play just fine running on the laptop( no external monitor)

Any ideas out there? or more info?

Thanks

Make that call to the laptop maker to lodge this warranty complaint and ask when they can fix it.

That means you were an early adopter? If so try it with the POWER SCHEME set to something like it is when on battery power.

Sorry, not an offer to duplicate web content on Vista Power Schemes.
