is there a way to open each media type you select in a different window (have 2 playing at the same time) like you can in media player 6.4

Back in the heyday of "Will the world use Windows?" Microsoft (MS) was pinned against the wall to be better and have such a feature. It's harder to write the video/audio drivers and players to do this trick so I'm seeing this and other features slide off the feature map.

My personal favorite media player, MediaPlayer Classic (MPC) has a feature to do this. It's a free, light weight media player (especially compared to WMP9), but also containing features lacking in all versions of WMP.
