Hi erobinsong

Just go to the start button/all programs/media player. Right click on it and left click on "create shortcut".

If WinXP try this.

Hi: erobinsong:
Don't worry about being new to this forum or anything else. We were all new the first time we tried something.
If you're running WinXP, do this.
Start/All Programs/Accesssories/Entertainment/Right click Windows Media Player, when the menu opens, select Send To, then select Desktop (Create Shortcut).
This will work for any other shortcuts that you may want to create.

Best of Luck

DRAG AND DROP

<read title>
Also, holding CTRL+SHIFT while dragging, makes a shortcut. Just drag it on to your desktop.
