So You're Now Using WMP 11?
Jul 14, 2014 2:54AM PDT

If not, then attempt UNINSTALLING WMP, which will take you back to the original WMP 9.. See if it then has sound.

Have you confirmed the graphics equalizer on WMP is at least in the middle settings? (Open WMP, select "Now Playing", then select "View" in the upper left, then "Enhancements", then Graphic Equalizer". Make sure all sliders are at least half way, preferably higher.)

And a question.. You mention there is no sound in WMP. Is there no sound when playing anything in WMP? No sound when playing CD music, when playing DVD's, from the internet, etc.? Or is it just with a specific type of media, which might mean a codec is missing for WMP.)

Hope this helps.
