Media Player

I use windows 7 home premium I have microsoft media player 12 installed, can any-one tell me how to make a copy of a music or data cd/dvd so as to have a backup disk.(I have 2 burners on my system).

I use CDBURNERXP for that.

I install CDBURNERXP from google.com and use its copy feature.

Isn't microsoft media player 12 for playing some media?

I am confused- is Media Player having a problem or are you just looking to burn from WMP? Here are directions on how to burn from WMP: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Burn-a-CD-or-DVD-in-Windows-Media-Player. If you are having problems detecting your burners, make sure your drivers are up to date.
