Media Center Help

Hello. This is my first post. I hope it's in the right forum.

Question: How to set up my media center so that I can view everything on my TV(s):
*Cable
*DVD
*Internet

What are my list of criteria, e.g., hardware, software, etc.

What I do have:
50'' Sony WEGA 3LCD TV (and 34'' Sony Wega CRT TV and other misc tvs)
1 Cable/DVR box and 1 HD cable box both with a/v in/outs
1 A/V Receiver
2 DVD players
Home network wired and wireless (laptop and desktop on network)
Windows XP Home Edition
