MCE & Samsung TXS3082WHX Monitor Driver

Sep 10, 2006 6:13AM PDT

I would like to know if anyone knows of a driver or some settings, possibly a font that would enable me to view text a little better on my Dynaflat TV.

I've browsed everywhere on the web - samsung ofcourse - to no use.

I'm using a a Dell dimension E510 with a Radeon X300/X550 video card running MCE.

I've played with the majority of the settings, used the enable font smoothing feature, installed different types of fonts, changed the res, played with the screen refresh rates and I still can't get a satisfactory display out of this tv. Any recommendations or advice?

Thanx a bunch

At 30 inches, even 1080 will seem poor.

I'm runnign 1024 across on a measly 17inche so to approach what you see on a PC you need to find a display of about 2160 for 30 inches.

It's not the drivers, it's just the basic issues.

1920x1080

That's the max i was able to push the video card to, but unfortunately, the characters were abit ghosty and a little on the blurry side too..

Screen adjustments for this TV are not available so i'm not able to adjust the screen to fit the frame correctly... anything you could suggest?

I looked up the TV and 1080 was a max on the specs.

Pushing the video card to 1920 may make this worse.

Try the native resolutions of the set.

Suggested resolution?

Well, I'm impressed that the TV was able to handle the 1900 x .. resolution.. but as far as the native res. What do you suggest?

Thanx a bunch by the way.

A note about native resolutions.

I looked up the TV and see no mention of 1920 support. I'd try numbers that are listed on the specs of the TV.
