Question

McAfee removal

Feb 18, 2016 6:34PM PST

Hi,
First of all forgive me for not trawling through the forums as I'm sure this question has been asked and (Ihope) answered before.
I have a new Acer laptop which came with a free trial of McAfee which I promptly deleted (after installing a virus protection of my choice).
Now, when I boot up I am greeted with the dreaded Blue Screen of Death!
How do I safely, effectively and completely delete this anti-virus program?
Thanks in anticipation,
Chris

when do you get the blue screen of death

at what point during the boot do you get the blue screen of death? Are you able to get into safemode? If so, do a system restore to a restore point prior to deleting Mcafee. How did you remove mcafee? What operating system? one thing, since it is a new laptop, time to test acers tech support since it is under warranty.
