Mazda 626 '99, sputtering

by maril51 / November 24, 2006 12:39 AM PST

I have a Mazda 626, 1999 LX. It idles fine, and if you give it gas very slowly it accerlates fine. But if you tap the gas fast or press the gas to speed up, it jerks and sputters and yesterday it would pop like a small backfire. The indicator light that looks like an engine came on yesterday and won't go off. The owner manual says that means fuses or electrical problems. I checked all fuses that you can check visually. They were ok. Now what? Could it be the O2 sensor?

Accelerator sputtering
by ramseyaw / April 21, 2010 1:18 AM PDT

I have this exact same problem on my 93 Firebird. When i accelerate easy, the car drives great. Although, when I accelerate fast or floor the pedal, the car sputters and spits and has a major lack of power.

I was thinking that it could be an exhaust leak in my car. Do you know if you have anything similar?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
