Question

Maybe issue with wireless pc mouse

Sep 12, 2017 6:56AM PDT

First time that I have had a wireless mouse. Seems that I have to "double" click "a lot". Meaning, I click it once, nothing happens, so I have to click it again. I do have the mouse set for "single" click, always have. I downloaded latest driver for mouse, but issue remains. Is this "normal" for a wireless mouse? Never had this issue before with a "wired" mouse.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Clarification Request
So this mouse and not other mice?

Could be defective or just a low battery. If new batteries don't help, return as defective and try another model.

Didn't think to check the battery since it was new that came with mouse. Checking with meter showed that it was low.

Thanks

Nice when it's that. Now remember.

"Pepperidge Farm remembers...."

Anyhow, think about how long the battery(s) last and you'll find this is usually consistent. Even my best wireless needed a battery every 6 to 9 months.

Nope, not normal

I use a logitech wireless mouse and even with the USB device plugged into rear of computer, not the front, I have no problems with the mouse.
