Maxtor One Touch III 200 GB -- install on home computer

Feb 3, 2007 10:53AM PST

OK, I messed up by thinking I could get by with a maxtor one-touch III for a short period of time until I subscribed to an on-line backup service for my office server. I have accomplished that.

I now want to install the Maxtor on my home computer to back up the home desktop hard drive. I am afraid that if I plug the Maxtor in, it will overwrite my hard drive. How can I dump the contents out of the maxtor and then install on the home computer?? Thanks.
