Just look to the past to see that idea smashed. Sure if the future to you is one year....
Anyhow there are benchmarks on each GPU solution but the 1050 is nice enough on say 1080p 60Hz gaming. If you move up to more pixels or Hz then you need more. A 1060 in either desk or laptop form is fine.
The 1070 is IMO overkill for now on the usual 1080 screens. But if you feel you need it, go for it.
My gamer friends tend to be either "ultra, ultra everywhere" or "high is good, I'll save the bucks for next year" folks.
Hi all, As we all know, the Max Q 1070 laptops are out.
My question is, as someone who's planning to future-proof his gaming laptop(i travel alot, so desktops are out), is the 1070 Max Q rlly worth the 200 bucks price premium or is it just a souped-up 1060 with SLIGHT boost in performance?
Kinda tilting towards the 1060 as from what i see on my bro's 1060 powered laptop, it breezes through any AAA(2017) game on ultra-1080p easily breaking 60FPS, so spending a couple hundred more on an already expensive-as-hell laptop seems abit much.
Thoughts?
