Matsui mr120 power off setting

Hi

POWER OF SETTING

can someone explain what this function actually does - I dont see any change if I change the timings -

also does anyone know if there is an auto off setting if it stops playing.

Hi,

If I understand your question enquiring about 'auto off... if it stops playing' correctly, then that's exactly what the "Power Off Setting" menu option lets you set.

However, unlike many other MP3s the Matsui 120 (and I think the 105 & 110 included) use minutes as incremental steps rather than seconds. So you'll find on the 120 that the first option beyond zero (i.e. don't switch off automatically) is 10 minutes, then 20 minutes upto a max of 60 minutes.

So the smallest "switch off after being idle" period you can set is 10 minutes.
