Mass storage device

Every time I boot my computer it tries to locate and install a driver for "Mass storage Device" . The install fails. I have one storage device connected to the computer at this time. The device manager indicates 2. I cant tell what the second one is. This all started after I updated at least 6 drivers using a program downloaded from the web. What can I do to eliminate this? It does not seem to be causing any problems, just like to get rid of it.

Hp computer
Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit)
8 GB Ram

Those driver update programs can cause more trouble.

Did you use System Restore to when it worked?

Nope

It didnt occur to me to try that. I'll try it if you think it will be the best course of action.
