Martial Arts At The Olympics

Kung Fu masters are determined to showcase martial art glory in Beijing in a sport which has yet to be recognised as an Olympic discipline. Wushu is the Chinese term for martial arts, encompassing kung fu and others fighting forms, both contact and non-contact exhibition arts. Its followers are hoping that their performance at the Olympic Games might get the sport officially recognised.

Over the decades sports have been added and dropped. I don't know the criteria that is used. Some of them are individual achievement, some team-based. Some are popular in any countries, unheard of in others.
