Some details left out, but what email software is in use?

All of my e-mails, inbox, sent adn deleted have suddenly been switched to maarlett font. Also, so have other parts of my computer, ie the subfolders under display and others. Windows 2000

Some details left out, but what email software is in use?

outlook express is the mail program. But the font change has happened through-out the computer. If I go to control panel, and let's say, click on display (which is in Enlish), then all of the text from there on out is in Marlett.
1. Start with the obvious. Control Panel, Display and you can set the screen and more fonts to Marlett so see if you can find that and set it back.
2. Windows 2000 has the SFC tool. Try that if #1 fails.
3. Pests.

In order to use the SFC tool, do I need to have the Windows 2000 disc? I bought this computer as used and it does not have the original discs. Up until Thursday of this week it had been working just fine.
