Marianna, a SpywareBlaster note..

Can you believe I still can't update SpywareBlaster?!
If you recall, you sent me the sbdatabase2 last time I posted about this, August 20th I believe. And it worked fine, and gave me the correct number of items in the database.
Noted the latest update available, yesterday, and gave it a shot, but still sos. Reads the same at 3115, dated 8/16.

No idea what my problem is, unless it is that I have not donated, or gotten an Auto Updates subscription.

Very good program IMO, but as with all, needs to be kept updated.

Surely don't want to impose on you to send me a file every time, so if you have any ideas of what I'm not doing, or doing wrong, would sure love to hear them.

Shouldn't be this hard Happy

Ray,

You are welcome. I used to read and post there too, but have not had a need to since the most recent release of the program which works fine on my old Win98. Happy

Marianna, thanks..

In reply to: Ray - look in your INBOX .......

as happened last time, nothing appearing in my mail. Will give it some time as, if you may remember, last time it took awhile. LOL
Really appreciate your help, but as I said, this is not your problem, and do not want to impose on you to send me files, that IMO, should just simply download and update on their own. Lady, you are just too goodhearted, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that recognizes that. Hope you realize what a service you do for us.

Just a thought, Ray, but maybe check the file properties of the database files in the SpywareBlaster folder and make sure that they haven't somehow gotten set as "Read Only"

Thanks Glenn
I have both of those files on my computer. Not to say they are the version that SpywareBlaster needs, but since everything else works fine on the computer, think I'll leave them be for now. Appreciate the reply.
