Question

Manual Focus Digital Video Camera

Dec 1, 2011 12:56AM PST

I'm looking to purchase a manual focus digital video camera. Originally I was looking at Canon in the hopes I could use my DSLR lenses on the video camera as well, but I was told that would mean getting the top of the line professional video camera - which is outside my budget.

Does anyone have recommendations, warnings, favorites for an under $500 digital video camera that allows for manual focus - preferably on the lens itself - not through a touchscreen option.

Thanks in advance, I've been searching for hours but feel like I'm getting nowhere.

find manual focus controls in the way of an lens barrel ring on the consumer grade camcorder price range you've started.
