Sir I installed Mandriva 2011 on my Laptop HP dv5 along with the factory installed Vista. I have a wireless net work at home and Vista comfortably connects to this netwrok. When on Mandriva, the machine does not recognize the Wi Fi netwrok and doen not connect. When I tried to connect through wired (cable), it works fine. I have searched for possible driver problem but could'nt get any help from any where. I am getting help from this forum on various issues for more than a decade and today felt happy to see R.Proffit responding to me, like always......since decades......Bravo Sir!
This means I can't see if there is a driver needed.
Sorry I can't help with the lack of details. I can see why no one can help but did they ask for the details?
Bob
What kind of further details are needed sir?
I am new to Linux and cant speak the linux language.
