Malwarebytes Anti malware Q...

by Syrinx77 / July 4, 2010 9:51 PM PDT

I've been using MBAM a little while now & since I'm far from an expert on these things, I'm just curious to know why it has updates pretty much everyday. Are new malwares created that often?

"Are new malwares created that often?"

The short answer is YES!. Only for starters, have a look at the malware removal guides at the Malwarebytes forum, and how often it's updated. I subscribe to a thread, which alerts me to whenever new rogues are added to MBAM's database. I receive one almost daily. Keep in mind their application targets more than rogue "products".

I hope you don't view it as anything but.. "a good thing".

Best regards..
