Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Jan 22, 2011 11:10AM PST

Many times when I use Malwarebytes free edition, when I either update it which it prompts automatically, or if I uninstall (also manually removing application and program folders)and download the latest version which also usually requires an update, the program hangs and I get a blue screen error that requires a memory dump, and often CHKDSK will indicate a dirty volume which then corrects the registry problems associated with the error. I have windows xp home edition and this is generally the only time I have blue screen issues. The event viewer showed an IaStor error with a code 9.
