Malware programs

Need a free malware removal program for windows ME operating system.

And it's FREE as long as you only want the "stand alone scanner" version which finds and deletes the newer spyware types. You'll need to pay for the version which runs realtime in the background.Here's the link:

Grif..When you say that the free version of "SuperAntispyware" is "standalone" Are you saying that after you have it installed, you manually have to initiate each scan ?

Although the program is user friendly, the free version must be updated by you and each scan must be initiated by you. A click on a button accomplishes both tasks. There is no background scanner or "Scheduled Scanning" in the free version but still, the program is a good malware detector and remover.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
