Why Not Uninstall, Then Reinstall Outlook?

In reply to: Malware or virus

It may not be a malware problem at all, but instead, Outlook could be wonky. Save all contacts and messages first and make a copy of your Outlook.pst file.

Hope this helps.

Did you start OL2010 in it's safe mode?

In reply to: Malware or virus

Here's how:
"Start Outlook in safe mode and disable add-ins. Sometimes add-ins can conflict with Outlook. Starting Outlook in safe mode, which starts Outlook without add-ins loaded, can tell you if an add-in is the problem."

Do not get distracted by the article title. Try this safe mode.
