malware bytes won't run

my computer has a virus. I have malware bytes anti malware installed, but I can't get it to run. What do I do?

I'll second Bob's suggestion as I had to change the filename

to get some anti-virus and anti-spyware programs to run on a neighbor's PC.

In some cases you may even have to change the file name to run the anti-virus or anti-spyware installation program.
