As to your question, Try https://www.google.com/#q=online+free+tb+storage
I have a 2 TB Seagate Expansion Desktop external hard disk, which I bought over 2 years ago. Since I was using a iMac as my primary desktop computer, I formatted the disk to FAT32. It worked fine for quite a long while. Recently though, I've started facing issues with the disk. It started small, some movie files I played directly from the disk started freezing, first for a few seconds, then longer. I eventually started copying the files to my iMac and played them from there. Then there were access issues. The drive would eject on its own, and I would get a message saying the disk was not ejected properly. When I tried to reconnect, I couldn't do so unless I restarted the iMac with the drive connected. Now, this is the only way the drive connects. And this has slowed down the boot time for the mac.
I've tried a few things - resetting the PRAM, trying to fix it through Disk Utility. The problem is now so bad I can't even copy files from the disk to the computer. I can get the disk replaced through warranty, but there's a lot of data on it I don't want to lose, and there aren't too many online storage spaces around for the amount of data I need to store temporarily. Also, there is the problem of not being able to copy for very long.
My question(s), after all this, is - Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a way to fix this, at least temporarily so I can get the data transferred safely before getting my replacement, and does anyone know of an online storage that would allow me to temporarily store 1.5 Tb of data?
