making my tv in family room able to wirelessly access

May 31, 2009 12:54PM PDT

kids hogging the computers. My wife would love to be able to watch tv in family room but be able to access internet some how (Mostly email)on the TV. We have a wireless linksys system in house. Unable to hard wire. Can put a laptop or desktop under tv cabinet but was hoping for something simplier. was looking to upgrade for a complete media center/dvd/blue ray etc...

The how to connect to the TV is a nightmare of interfaces from channel 3, 480i, HDMI, DVI and more.

I'd forget all that and look at the sub 300 buck NETBOOKs. We have one in our family and it's quite the nice thing to have around.
