What? You've never heard
Jun 10, 2019 4:27AM PDT

of the Emanuel/BO playbook rule of "Never let a good crisis go to waste".....even if it's a crisis YOU created?

Look at how many chaos situations THAT administration created just so they could pass EO's or legislation that fit their agenda that 'fixed' them......…

And don't EVEN try to say that Trump created the border crisis.....that's ALL on Dems and as been for decades with their 'progressive' crap. Abort as many American citizens as possible so they can be replaced with illegals who will eventually be given amnesty and then voter rights under the firm belief that they will vote Dem in huge numbers. Don't believe me? Check the stats on birth rate decline because citizens can't afford to have kids anymore due to low labor wages thanks to massive numbers of illegals...…..

citizens can't afford to have kids anymore due to low labor wages

The Democrats are on your side....and you agree with Democrats?

House Democrats take a big step toward passing $15 per hour US minimum wage

House Democrats advance a bill to raise the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour, more than double the current $7.25.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi supports the plan, and the Democratic-held chamber will likely pass it.

Still, it will face resistance from Senate Republicans and the White House.

Republicans/ and DJT don't agree with having more kids?

Raising the min wage is NOT the answer
Jun 10, 2019 3:52PM PDT

deport all the illegals and their families that keep coming first....THEN if the min wage is to be increased, at least the companies will be able to afford to do it because they won't be ALSO having to pay THEM and all those freebies they get when they shouldn't. The more you hire low wage illegals, the more you keep the wages low for citizens who have to compete for those jobs. The prices for things that keep going up like health insurance, schools, and other services are directly because we, as taxpayers, are having to pay for 'taking care' of illegals.

Did you know that our country stupidly allows for 'asylum' and 'refugee' status that NEVER ends for those people? It's SUPPOSED to be a temporary 'sanctuary' until conditions in their HOMELAND improve and have them go back....but Dems have fought that tooth and nail to the point that those people never go back. They come, they get freebies all over the place, and then start having KIDS that now turn into automatic US citizens and it's a free pass to stay. It's disgusting and that 'birth' crap should be abolished because there is nothing in the Constitution that actually ALLOWS for it although liberals claim the opposite. That amendment was meant for former slaves, their children, and Native Americans that didn't have status before.....NOT for freaking FOREIGNERS.

Not THE answer...BUT one part of THE answer?

Not the answer to not being able to afford to have children?

When someone tells me people "can't afford to have children"...I'm led to believe that the cure for that problem is earning mo' money.

The mo' money you "have", the more you can "afford"?(have enough money to pay for)

Are things THAT different south of your Northern border?

Don't start deporting people until you get Americans to fill the jobs that will be vacant.....you may go into shock when you can't fill the jobs.

We had no problem filling jobs
Jun 17, 2019 7:40AM PDT

when only Mexicans with actual legal green cards were coming into our country to do the jobs that liberals claimed Americans wouldn't do. Now we have so many ILLEGALS to compete against that wages will ALWAYS stay low. You haven't figured that out yet or bothered to look at the actual STATS and figures available everywhere on the net, but...when and IF you do, YOU will be the one in shock.

It looks like

The Don created Mexico tariff thing was much ado about nothing.

Did he get anything that was not already in nafta 2?

He seems to be doing some crowing about it.

Once the migrants become citizens they don't seem to be having a problem with birth rate.

The pressures driving northward migration
Jun 10, 2019 6:19AM PDT

have not changed. Tariffs wouldn't have stopped migration. Neither will any actions Mexico is capable of taking.
Mexico is capable of slowing, even temporarily stopping the migration, that's all.

I don't see the underlying problems being solved or even addressed by anyone. Only governments have the size, but none have the desire-plus-means to do so.

Not simple.
El Salvador e.g. could change the attitudes of its criminal element (inside and outside govermment).
Mexico ditto.
US could reach out instead of inward.
Anyone see that happening?

I learned recently that Deming NM is doing something. Not enough, and with opposition, but something.
