Major Sony Bravia Brightness problem

Hi, I have a Sony Bravia, 480i tv. Ever since a few days ago, the brighness was automatically changed to default, and it was really dark. It was very easy to notice. But when I change the brightness, hue, colour higher again, and accept the changes; once I exit the menu screen, it goes back to default.

What does the display settings go back to default when I accepted to change them? Everytime I change it, and exit the menu, and then go to the menu again, the settings are back to default by its self. It is highly annoying.

Plese, can anyone help me?
