Maybe something will jump out.
Also post the exact make and model of the psu.
Okay. So, this is kind of the last place to really look for a possible answer without paying a lot for a professional to investigate and MAYBE find the answer.
For about a year and a half, a good friend of mine has had some serious problems with her PC that we've never been able to figure out. Looked all over the place for similar problems and solutions, but to absolutely no avail. So I've finally come here to explain the issue and try to find some sort of solution for my friend.
Right then. So, for the longest time, her computer generally works alright, as a whole. However, the issue comes out more when talking on voice in Discord, as well as something else I'll explain shortly.
When on voice, her voice will suddenly stop and all we'll hear are popping/firework sounds coming from her end, and nothing else. If she disconnects and reconnects, it works again. But the times it does the popping is completely random. Sometimes it will start immediately, other times it'll go for hours before it happens again. This, however, is not local to Discord, as it happens differently with other voice chat programs, like Skype. On there, it just crashes Skype entirely at the times it would normally start "fireworks-ing". It's also not the headset, as three different headsets have been tried that also make use of the analog ports, as well as USB.
As for the other most prominent issue, just as randomly as the "fireworks-ing", her Overwatch will crash. We've looked around at similar problems for people on Overwatch, even looking at the error log it puts out when it crashes. But it's just not something that seems to be affecting others. At least that we could find.
Now, to explain the solutions we've already tried. She has almost entirely replaced her computer. We went part by part, now having almost an entirely new PC. The power supply, motherboard, graphics card, RAM, and HDD were replaced. The only thing remaining that hasn't been replaced is the CPU. But it also just seems highly unlikely that this is a CPU problem. Even the OS was replaced on the new HDD. Likewise, there are no loose wires or anything inside the computer. All drivers are completely up-to-date, as well.
As a whole, this is stressing the hell out of her because it's also been going on like this for over a year. Not really sure where else to look, and this issue is just nowhere to be found. I've found similar issues, but all the possible solutions for those, as well, have been tried.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
