Mobile Me says no longer taking subscribers. Is there a built in free e-mail program in MAC software or will I have to start paying for Yahoo Plus to get e-mail? Very confusing. Also would like to move a hotmail account to.

It would be really unusual for an ISP to be giving their customers software.
This is the one our ISP provides:
SquirrelMail is typically installed for end users by their employer, the school they attend, some organization that the end user is a member of, a hosting company, or an Internet service provider (ISP)
SquirrelMail is a standards-based webmail package written in PHP. It includes built-in pure PHP support for the IMAP and SMTP protocols, and all pages render in pure HTML 4.0 (with no JavaScript required) for maximum compatibility across browsers. It has very few requirements and is very easy to configure and install. SquirrelMail has all the functionality you would want from an email client, including strong MIME support, address books, and folder manipulation.
