so it might be different. I do the exact same thing. I just have another column that I use to type in & Family or & John or leave blank. Then in my Word Envelope file I have that field.

I am trying to create a mail merge to print out greeting card labels.
I have created an excel spreadsheet with all the names, however one thing i can't figure out is if i want e.g to print a label saying mr and mrs smith and family, i can get the label to show mr and mrs smith, but can't get the 'and family' part.
How would i do this without editing all the labels individually?
I am using microsoft word 2007.
