magicjack broken audio

Using mj on HP laptop vista 32. on wireless or wired hi speed internet the audio is broken up to the point that it is not intelligible. can anyone help. Thanks.

I don't have time, right now, to fully research it for you, but I wanted to at least post this so that you could maybe take it from there.

I seem to recall reading a thread over at DSL Reports (or... wait... is it called Broadband Reports now?) about this. You'll have to hunt arpimd for it there...

...but I remember there were definitely some solutions to the problem you describe.

cyberdad1, try to reinstall sound card drivers, after you download it from official HP site. plus call to MJ tech support (may be you still need some software). I saw manual for same problem solvation.

I found that when I had vista,when you plug and unplug different items such as speakers flash drives ,you have go to device manager and reconfigure your sound card.I've had to do this several times,I'm always doing different things with music.I'm up grading to w7 soon I hope its better.Hope this helps you.
