Question

Magic Mouse Click Only Works In Safe Mode

Jun 11, 2012 1:33AM PDT

I have a 27" IMac, 18 months old

The mouse click suddenly stopped working today for no apparent reason. The mouse is tracking as usual.

I have:

Changed the mouse batteries
I have reset the PRM etc
Rebooted through my OSX Snow Leopard disk
Repaired disk and permissions through disk utility
Restarted in safe mode to find that the mouse was working
Restarted with it still not working in my account (admin)

I have now run out of ideas. I would be grateful if anybody help me?

Power off to everything, pull the AC cord and wait a bit. Try again.

I call this the "reset dammit."
