hi all, i thought i should really try the magic trackpad l,i went to the apple shop today and had a play with the magic mouse, then i thought i should try the magic trackpad too,i know that my macbook pro has a good trackpad but because i use mine on the couch with the mac quite close to me i found it uncomfortable, the upshot was that i bought the trackpad and in no time at all i had got to grips with it,i can recommend it for comfort and ease of use,i am left handed and of course no problems there, good choice in the end.
i found out, when using the magic trackpad you need to stand it on something rigid,im using it on my leather couch and it doesnt work properly on a soft surface on some gestures like drag and drop,i also bought something from the apple shop called Clearguard MB,its a clear sheet that fit over your keyboard,it protects it from spills, dust ect,it does detract a little from the look of your keyboard but after reading about people spilling coffee ect on their precious macs i reckon ill keep it on,im the clumsy type, just recently spilled tea on the home phone charging stand, needless to say it didnt work after that.
