Macros

For debate we use a template to create our files that is based on macros in Microsoft Word. I just had to have my computer reimaged by my new school, so I had to reinstall office for Mac 2011. The macros in the template itself work fine, but word won't open any macros that are in word documents. The weird part is the macros work in any file that I created with the template after my computer was reimaged, but they won't in any file I either downloaded or coppied from an external drive. Any ideas?

http://pogue.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/10/21/office-for-mac-isnt-an-improvement/ notes the bug in the macro system.

This may be only one of the bugs that are known. So far folk are still falling back to running Word in some VMWare or such.

And no, I have not heard of a fix.

You claim it worked before so my guess is there is a setting you have forgotten about.
