Macromedia Projector

Feb 23, 2005 3:22PM PST

There are several games that I used to be able to play and now when I try to play them I get the error "Macromedia Projector has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience." I am running Windows XP Home Edition on a fairly new emachine. Everything else works perfectly - why do I keep getting this error???

Dear mparegian,

I think there is a problem with your flash player. A flash projector file is an exported file from Macromedia Flash.

Try (re)downloading flash player from www.macromedia.com (it's completely free).

i am having the same friggin problem! i downloaded 2 games from gamehouse and neither one will work saying the same message about how the projector encountered an error and needs to close. i have redownloaded, and redownloaded not only the games, but the player, just to make sure everything was working fine! i also went through my program combatibility wizard to try to reconfigure everything, and nothing seems to be working! i have been at this for about a week now, and am about to pull out my hair! please help!
