Macromedia Flash Player not working, Help!

by sybil17 / February 23, 2007 12:54 AM PST

(Gateway laptop, Microsoft xp home edition w/SP2, cable hookup) I posted thread on 2/17/07 concerning no longer being able to watch ABC.COM full episodes of programs any longer. (Ref:ABC.COM Full Episode Player by umbrella 15 2/16/07) Tried everything that everyone recommended, nothing worked. Gave when I just accessed the CNET Tips and Tricks home page have message there that says "Please note to watch CNET Videos you need to download the Macromedia Flash Player" I have uninstalled and reinstalled this, it is listed in my add ons, I have the Install Flash player on my desktop. I never had problem before, does this have to do with IE7, or Quicktime? Never had either before and I watched the shows on ABC.COM all the time, Also watched the videos available on CNET. Any ideas?

If you're using RegSeeker it is known to knock out some necessary Flash registry entries.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
