First, uninstall Flash by using the Flash Uninstaller at the link below..
Once that's done, then visit the site below, download the standalone installer for Firefox, and reinstall Flash..
If it still doesn't work, then proceed on to install the newest Java (The newest Java 6 seems to work better in IE7):
Click on the link to Sun's Java below, then click on the ''Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6'' download button. Follow the prompts, accept the license agreement, then download the full ''Windows Offline Installation'' file to your desktop,(about 15 MB), scan it with your antivirus (just to be sure it's clean). Once that's done, if you've already got a Sun Java version on the computer, open the Control Panel, double click on the ''Add/Remove Programs'' section, then uninstall all previous version of the J2SE Java listed there. Once that's done, then install Java JRE 6 from the downloaded installer.
After everything is installed, then open Firefox, click on "Tools", choose "Options", then the "Content" tab.. Make sure the "Enable Java" box is CHECKED.

I have the flash player 9.0.28 in the fire fox browser and it works
but when I use IE 7 and want to see a video on myspace or yahoo video
it says I need to have macromedia flash installed.When I click on
download here I go to the adobe flash page 9.0.28 and hit download ,
then the site says it has been successfully downloaded.I'm stuck.I
have a dell E310 xp MCE 512 ram,up to date PC.Any help would be apreciated!
