MacFee installation on Sony Vaio Laptop experiences?

by sonylaptopuser / April 3, 2008 6:53 AM PDT

Hi,

Has anyone had experience good or bad after installing MacFee virus protection on their new Sony Vaio Laptop? Anything I should be careful of?

My Sony has Intel processor with Vista running, 3G of memory and 256GB of storage.

Thanks,
R

Hi,

While we are waiting for Sony Vaio and McAfee user(s) to post their thoughts/experiences, you might to check also at McAfee forums:

Rule of thumb is make sure your Windows is up-to-date (please open Windows Update program in Vista to check for updates), remove existing anti-virus or 3rd party firewall software before installing McAfee.

Thank you for your helpful reply, Donna. It sounds like MacFee is a complete package of anti-virus software for my Laptop and internet connections, etc. It must come with it's own firewall protection software. I'll take a look at the manual on the MacFee forum site and learn more.

Thanks,
Rick

Meet the drop-resistant Moto Z2 Force

The Moto Z2 Force is really thin, with a fast processor and great battery life. It can survive drops without shattering.
