Macbook (white) will not turn on

Hey guys, i have a mac book 2007 model with a 2ghz core 2 duo processor , GB ram , GB hard drive ,i use my mac nearly every single second of the day , im always using it, but just yesterday i went to turn it on and nothing happened , no lights no noise no nothing , i plugged it into the power supply but still nothing , whats wrong with my mac and what do i need to do to fix it.

If using the adapter alone doesn't work, then the next step would be removing the top case and shorting the power pads to see if the top case is defective. So, you'll want to take it somewhere to have this done. The screws on those systems are very particular and unforgiving if you put them back in the wrong order. Let it be on someone else's head if they screw it up.

A new top case is relatively inexpensive as repairs go, and if you have some cracking/splintering along the front edges of yours you can get the whole thing replaced for free.
