I've been trying to play HD films using Vudu on my Macbook Pro 2012 (OS Mountain Lion). However whenever I hook up my Panasonic plasma (mini display port to HDMI), I get a message telling me that for Copyright Restrictions the film can only play in SD.
My Panasonic is outfitted with HDCP and HD films play fine using iTunes and Amazon Prime. Only Vudu doesn't work. What's up? Any ideas?
The Vudu customer service reps write that it's a Mac problem. But why would the other websites play HD without a problem, and only Vudu not?
