MACBOOK HELP NEEDED TODAY

Sep 8, 2016 9:42AM PDT

okay im a teenager and need a new laptop. I was set on the macbook air 2015 i7 256gb, then i searched a bit more and im in a mess.
I have 3 options which are:
Early 2015 Macbook Pro i5 128gb 8gbRAM
2015 Macbook air 256gb i7 8gbRAM
and 2015/2016 12 inch Macbook

i really love the air, but the retina displays on the other two are reallly messsing my decision up.
I will use it for streaming the web, movies, and uploading dslr pictures and light editing.
ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!

For me, it depends on use.

As a programmer I might lean to the retina since I must be sure it looks good on that.

If there is any gaming, then I check GPU and may forgo the retina.

Last, I feel the 128GB SSD is tight. I would not consider less than 200GB for storage. This is up to you and your use.

ALL i need it for

is browsing the web and watching movies with a beautiful display. I am a beginner photographer and might upload pictures to lightly edit. The 12 inch macbook seemed ideal but i dont even know if the speed is impressive. I do not mind only one usb c port as i will buy the adapter if i get the 12 inch macbook.

I'll oversimplyfy.

Heavy work like video editing? Macbook Pro.
Just need to watch movie? Others.

Again, for the prices, I won't get the 128GB models.

what about

how about some dslr uploading pics? if i wasnt so hesitant about the macbook 12 inch being slow with its 1.1ghz intel core m, i would already have it by now. But i also heard when editing pictures on a macbook air or macbook it makes the quality seem really low.

That's news to me.

I don't use my Apple nearly enough but the quality is a factor of my choice of image compression and color calibration. If you are serious about color, then you get a Pantone Huey, Spyder or similar.

It's not funny to me anymore when folk tell me they want pro results and they pass on a basic staple of image quality.

As to uploading I have too many tricks for uploading. Some DSLRs have WiFi, and now I rarely pull out my DSLR since my phone camera is handy.

Do you remember this line? "The best camera is the one you have with you."
