macbook air shuts down after starting to boot up

My mac book air starts to boot up (the wheal starts to turn for about 30s) than it just turns of

it was working fine a few hours ago, i did a hardware test (every thing was OK) and after that the problem occurred

PRAM and SMC reset did't help

1.6 GHz, 2 GB, 80 GB, Mac OS Leopard

an up to date copy of Disk Warrior.

Failing that, it is always a good tool to have in your arsenal.

Have you tried running from the Restore DVD and attempting to repair the drive?

Have you solved it yet? I tried the PRAM approach but it didn't work. I have the same setup and the same problem.

That leaves the Disc Warrior or Restore DVD+repair drive options mentioned by P. Did you try them already?

It's unlikely the OP reads and answers this thread for March 2010, I think.
