Question

Macbook Air or Pro

Sep 23, 2011 1:14AM PDT

I am looking at buying a Mac and can not decide whether to get a Macbook Air or a Macbook Pro? Which one would you recommend? My only concern about the Air is whether I would actually miss the use of an optical drive.

MBP is better just because it has a much larger hard disk and an optical drive (now with Thunderbolt port as well). If weight and size are important, go for Air. Prices are the same. An alternative thought: Apple is rumored to make new MBPs next year like Air - with a solid-state HD and very thin.

I have an Air at the moment. Before that I had a MBP.

but the power is on the MBP side - its processors are faster. Check the Apple store.
